Older and tamer ::
When I got home tonight, the cat went into one of her modes of being unable to decide between being with me and being outside, so I propped the door open. She was inside when I heard some rustling in the back yard.
The two fauns are getting larger. The three of them are surprisingly tame, though I’ve seen what I took as a dangerous look from the mother when I stared her down trying to scare her away once (I retreated inside). The mother looks exhausted.
Of course, they’re only digging in the ivy because they’ve chewed the geraniums almost back down to the stems.
