I’ve had sleep apnea for many years. Last fall I had the upper jaw widened, tonsils removed, and deviated septum fixed. That took me from severe to mild apnea but left me without much of a bite.

Last week I had both jaws moved, mostly the lower one. I’m sleeping awesomely :-) The piano tuner just left, I have at least another couple weeks off work, and am feeling fairly decent, so I’m optimistic about recording...

Some of it might be the angle of the photo, but the entire lower half of the face is still swollen, though much better than last week! The completely blenderized diet is annoying but I’ll take that over the soreness following last year’s tonsillectomy.
