Cats take down prey over 5 X their size in nature... They are the most diverse hunter on earth hunting over 1250 species of animals. They do not worry, 99% of all sleep information we have we learned from cats, no documented insomnia, ever..... and look at the cat, it knows it was worshipped for centuries back to Egypt....
So, science says it is an “efficient” predator. ( Lazy? relaxed? Careful not to waste energy? Well, ask whoever determined that! ) They are truly a testament to what all living things are capable of..... I believe their ease is in part from their superior agilty and strength, yet they always look down at dogs, people.....??? Hmm....
