David Battino, co-author of the wonderful book The Art of Digital Music, visited me at home in April to record an interview for an episode of his O’Reilly Digital Media Insider podcast. You can listen and read about the episode here.
That was a lot of fun. Thanks David!

Thanks, Doug! I hope we were able to turn more people on to your album, which I truly enjoy.
For those who haven’t read the show notes yet, what I’m doing in the photo above is photographing my experimental mic setup, which was so silly-looking both Doug and I took photos. At left is a monophonic Korg PXR4 MP2(!) recorder. Next to that is a RadioShack soldering stand gripping two binaural mics in its alligator jaws. The mics feed an Olympus WS-200S digital voice recorder, the black blob in front of the Dream of I CD case. I ended up liking the mono recording from the Korg better.
