Alpine Rd. hike (3/17) ::
Sunday, D and R parked one of their cars up on Skyline and drove down to my house. We walked up (and down and up and up and up) to Skyline and later they drove me home. The map suggests I shouldn’t have been as winded this week as last, but maybe this hike was a good bit steeper.
Neither D nor I found a single map showing both the roads of my neighborhood and the trails of Coal Creek Open Space Preserve. Hopefully I didn’t screw up the scale too badly.

Nice Pics, wish I was back in valley/blue/black oak/madrone/redwood country somtimes...not others..Saw your site looking for Vision! All I ask is good ol vision, these audio programs these days suck! Don’t now of any designed that do so darn well? Sighs from hopelessness.
I can not wait to see some of the open space spots out that way, the whole valley is so beautiful, may it stay safe from the evil gaze of those who do not like it the way it is!And not meet the fate of SC
