House-shopping, episode 1 ::
Despite inoculation with a large dose of pessimism/realism (to counterbalance the housing market’s recent euphoria), after New Year’s I started a more careful search for a house. Just before Christmas, a realtor came to my door and we had a spirited discussion about the state of the market.
