Sesshin or Santarchy? ::
I wonder, on Saturday, should I go meditate all day starting at 5:30 am (sesshin), or dress up as Santa and drink in San Francisco all day starting at 11 am (Santarchy)? Talk about polar extremes!
The easy thing to do is go to neither one, which suggests that I should pick one.
Given that I just bailed out at the last minute on the annual Opcode Christmas dinner, a rather low-key social event (had a bit of an attack of the sads), sesshin looks like a better bet at the moment.
