Occasional spare brain cycles have been pondering the problem of how to make Logic play the same audio to two separate outputs, one with a click mixed in. I was wondering if I was going to have to play weird routing games with the 828mkII Firewire audio interface. At the MOTU site there’s a support page that describes how this is a relatively straightforward operation in Digital Performer: you route all your tracks to one bus, create two aux tracks with the bus as their input, and then route the two aux tracks to the separate audio outputs.
In Logic, it’s actually even simpler; the thing I hadn’t realized was that a Logic Aux can take a bus as an input. In Logic, you route all your tracks to one bus, and that bus can go to the main output. Then you can assign that same bus as the source of an aux bus, and route the aux to another pair of outputs.

Thanks, I am so glad you wrote this I am going to try it out as I have been having the same issue. I can bounce on 1 and 2, but I listen on 3 - 4 digital. I want the same output on both.
Ciao
