CD update ::
Friends have been asking about my CD project... Christoffer (producer) started on final edits and mastering this past weekend but isn’t quite done. I’ve narrowed down the 362,880 possible running orders to 2 for the moment, but then again I suspect Christoffer may surprise me by coming up with a new one when he finishes the first mastering pass. Even though I refuse to let myself do the final art, I’ve spent a few evenings playing with a few graphic ideas. I’m surveying the marketing landscape and getting some more parts under my fingers to play live.
Last night, in a bit of sick-with-a-cold trance, I opened The Art of Digital Music at random to David Zicarelli’s interview. This in itself was serendipitous; it was through David that I got involved in music software. But the interview also suggested a title for my CD. We’ll see if it sticks.
