North of the Golden Gate ::

This past weekend was a nice break from the compulsion of Getting Things Done. V and I took a drive north of the Golden Gate... (click for larger photos)

We went to the top of Mount Tamalpais... where the fog’s last gasp of the day laid west of San Francisco. The sun reached the forest floor in Muir Woods... It took a hike on the hillside trail to see the tops of the towering redwoods. Many enjoyed Muir Beach... We climbed on the rocks. Point Reyes was nearly deserted... a perfect place to watch the sunset. Sunday, from Santa Rosa to Calistoga... returning from Harbin Hot Springs (same mountains, other side).
