Techniques and Strategies ::
I came across these over the last few days and have added them to my browser’s toolbar. The musical ones here came from links and references on SynthSights:

- Variation Techniques for Composers & Improvisors
- random Oblique Strategy - I plucked the script from Greg Taylor’s excellent page, since it’s non-functional at the moment (serving its source code instead of running).
- random Acute Strategy - ditto
- How to Make a Complete Map of Every Thought You Think - doubt if I’d have the patience to do this but it’s totally intriguing and tempting
