Toltec ::
Last night V told me she’d just read a book about the Toltecs. I asked if it was The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz (the only author I could name of books on Toltec wisdom). She said, yes it was.
I first read the book three years ago and reread it a year and a half ago. I remember feeling that the book expressed truth, and the four agreements, reminders to oneself of what to believe and (maybe more importantly) not believe, were indeed practical and helpful.
Driving home, making my way to the freeway, I saw the California license plate TOLTEC.
