He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not ::
Saw He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not (À la folie... pas du tout) last night, starring Audrey Tautou (Amelie). Without giving away too much... she’s in love with a married man and we slowly learn that things are not what they seem.
It reminded me of what I wrote after seeing One Hour Photo last fall. When a superficially normal, happy person is gradually revealed to be less than fully rational, we’re confronted with a choice between finding a point at which we stop identifying with the character, and accepting that the potential for serious delusion is in each of us.
