The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers ::
Saw The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers this morning—at 8 am! It was worth getting up early for. Even though I have yet to see The Fellowship of the Ring (I’m not a big stickler for correct chronological order), it didn’t matter; I last read the Tolkien books perhaps 15 years ago, and remembered the plot.
Stunning landscapes and computer animations, well-acted, true to the spirit of Tolkien—what more could I ask for, besides, in a three-hour movie, a restroom break? Poor, lovable, tormented Smeagol.
