Stupid White Men ::
I tried to tantalize my parents into seeing Bowling for Columbine during muted commercials in the evening TV news. I don’t think I succeeded. Dad had heard of Michael Moore; it sounded like he’d picked up and looked at one of his books in Borders the other day. After dinner, I read Jon Udell pointing to All Consuming’s book crawler, which pointed me to Moore’s Stupid White Men ...and Other Sorry Excuses for the State of the Nation, probably the book Dad saw in Borders.
