Yesterday I signed up with a new web hosting provider and thought I’d move the saveoms.org domain there while I evaluated their service (the Save OMS server has been down since a hardware failure 6 months ago). Today I got an email from my friend who graciously had been providing DNS and a web redirect for Save OMS, asking that I update saveoms.org’s registered DNS servers—which is coincidentally exactly what I was planning to do tonight as I moved it to the new provider. I told my friend of the coincidence. He asked if it was me or John Cooper who kept track of coincidences (the three of us all worked at Opcode together). I immediately pointed him to what I’d written earlier today.
