Oregon @ Yoshi's ::

Last night I saw Oregon at Yoshi’s in Oakland. I first heard a Ralph Towner record in 1981 and was hooked then. I’d always thought of him as a wonderful guitarist but for some reason never realized that he’s also a very good pianist. They opened with “Joyful Departure” from Northwest Passage, which coincidentally I’d just been listening to on my iPod on the drive. These guys have just gotten better with time.
