Mother Mallard’s Portable Masterpiece Company played its 30th anniversary concert at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY on Sunday, October 3. The group, led by minimalist composer David Borden, was possibly the world’s first performing synthesizer ensemble. Robert Moog (rhymes with “vogue”), who helped get the group off the ground with equipment, gave a pre-concert talk with David about the early days of the synthesizer.
The Experience Music Project is a “dynamic interactive music museum opening in Seattle in 2000.”
