F*** the Communications Decency Act ::

[old image removed, sorry]

The cartoonist forgot to include the Constitution on which the politicians are pissing.

Clinton has signed the Communications Decency Act into law. The man has no spine whatsoever; he’s smart enough to know that it’s unconstitutional, that it’s what people want—and that his veto would get overridden.

As Linda remarked, (having had the experience of living in Peru under martial law), democracy is a fragile, young experiment. It rests on the Constitution. If the Constitution starts to crumble, what happens next?

Why is [was] this page black? February 8 was Black Thursday [broken link]. See the Voters Telecommunications Watch.

Speaking of indecent speech: Last month, when driving from San Francisco to LA, we stopped to eat at the Harris Ranch. Reading the menu, I asked, “what are mountain oysters?”. “Bull testicles,” replied one of my friends. I felt a sudden abortion of my desire to savor some beef, the specialty of the restaurant. I considered the chicken breast.
